Bedrooms & Baths

Three bedrooms sleep six, with a daybed in the living room for one more, if needed. The master suite is upstairs with a queen bed and large bathroom. On the main level, one bedroom has a queen bed and the other a double bed. The second bathroom is conveniently located off the hallway. All beds are extremely comfortable, featuring memory foam mattress toppers with quality bedding and down/feather pillows.

Living Areas

The living, dining and kitchen areas are all spacious and flow together with lots of windows for plenty of light and hardwood floors throughout. A large kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal and set a fabulous table! This home was NOT set up as a rental so there are very nice and plentiful pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes and glasses. There is also a full size laundry room on the main level and ceiling fans in every room.

Outdoor Spaces

Two decks offer plenty of room to enjoy the coastal breezes with peak-a-boo ocean views. The larger side deck has a gas grill, dining table for al fresco meals, as well as a pair of chaise lounges for your enjoyment. From sunbathing in the day to grilling in the evening to incredible stargazing at night, you’ll find yourself out there a lot!

Home Entertainment

Amenities include high-speed wireless internet, DirectStreamTV with TV’s in the living room, master and one other bedroom, a Blu-ray DVD player and a Sound Bar. A large selection of board games can be found in the living room armoire, and when you turn over the top of the end table next to the sofa, you’ll find a backgammon table.

Ground Level

There is a large fenced yard accessible to you and your 4-legged family member from the main deck. Well-trained pets are allowed for an additional fee. There are also beach chairs and toys as well as an outdoor shower head downstairs with hot and cold water for rinsing off when you return from the beach. Vacant lots on either side of this very large lot offer more privacy than usual.

Golf Cart Rental

Golf carts, surf and paddle boards, kayaks and canoes can all be rented by the day, weekend or week and delivered right to the home. Rick’s Beach Rentals is located nearby and a good source for this. My home is located 2 blocks from the beach so it is walkable. However, if you are carrying a lot of chairs, etc. it is best to drive down one of the streets and park at the end next to the beach. Nearby Shopping

There is a convenience store, liquor store, Mario’s pizza and Allex’s Seafood Market on FM 3005 at the entrance to Pirates Beach. There is also a Dollar General less than a mile west and Seven Seas (small grocery store) a few more miles west in Jamaica Beach as well as a few more restaurants. I typically do my grocery shopping at the large Randall’s located on 61st Street after you exit off I-45 which is about 15 minutes from Pirates Beach. There is also a Kroger on the Seawall and 59th Street. There are many great restaurants and things to do and see in Galveston, all within a 20-minute drive of my house.

The maximum number of guests is seven and the minimum age requirement to rent the home is 28. Well-trained dogs allowed for additional fee. Easy access with electronic lock on front door with private code texted at check in time.
